The Beauty of Glass!
Glass is beautiful in and of itself, and can be manipulated and coaxed and melted and formed in a variety of ways. I love them all, although I have not experienced them all myself. If you have never tried working with glass, read about it, watch some videos, and see if you are tempted to give it a try yourself!

Lampwork is the art of working with a torch to melt glass and form it into things like beads and sculptures. The name derives from the early days, before people had such things as our modern day torches, and used kerosene lamps to heat the glass to melting temperatures. There are beads still being found from days long gone by, when they were highly prized.
Rods of glass, waiting to be melted on the torch and formed into something new.
